Farmer-type Ionization Chamber with graphite walls, aluminium central electrode, vented, PMMA built-up cap, full-guarded, 2m low-noise cable, connector BNT (other type on request). Because of its excellent long-term stability and flat energy dependance, the chamber can be used as a part of REFERENCE DOSEMETER for transfer of dosimetry units from the SSDL.

For measurement in water phantom the rubber sheath MR 2911 is necessary.

MR 2102 is the watertight version of precision ionization chamber MR 2101.

The internal design of the ion.chamber body icluding the sensitive volume is identical with the MR 2101. The only difference is that the cable is going through the tube to enable free ventilation to the outer atmosphere.

MR 2102  is delivered with two caps :
The first one for measurement free in air is indentical to MR 2101 buid-up cap.
The second one for measurement in water is sealed with o-ring to the chamber body and the thickness at the sensitive volume is 1mm only.
